“And on the sidelines of the 2022 World Cup” …
Why this section? Because there are many new products this autumn and you certainly expect to see them all on our mini site “Mondial deauto”, where traditionally you find new models from all manufacturers.
However, since several manufacturers have chosen not to be present at this edition of the Paris Motor Show 2022, a certain number of novelties will not be exhibited at the Porte de Versailles in Paris, and in particular the one presented in this article. To give you an exhaustive view and meet your expectations, we have nevertheless chosen to publish them on the Caradisiac minisite dedicated to the Paris Motor Show, but in a special section “And on the sidelines of the Paris Motor Show”.
Only McLaren remains. From Porsche to Aston Martin passing through Lamborghini, Maserati, Rolls-Royce and then Ferrari, all the prestigious houses have entered. Even for the brand with the prancing horse that is literally crumbling under orders, already capable of selling more cars every year in the world than Lamborghini and Aston Martin without “cheating” with this type of model, there is no longer any talk of pass. The first SUV in Ferrari history, the famous Purosangue is on display before your eyes. Unsurprisingly, it’s more pleasing to the eye in these official images than in the gruesome stolen photos posted a few months ago. Ferrari’s approach differs considerably from that of other brands in this area: while the latter only detect the existing mechanical foundations, the prancing horse brand gets by on its own with a custom designed aluminum frame.
The profile evokes a plump Ferrari GTC4 Lusso, and with the addition of two rather antagonistic doors: unlike a Fiat 500e 3 + 1, a Mazda RX-8 or an American pick-up in “club-cab”, these beautiful doors – suicide unfortunately it is not allowed to give up the pillars between the front and rear seats. And space, there seems to be some in the two nice rear bucket seats. As for the front passenger, he has a large screen in front of him. The dashboard is ultramodern in style but, unlike all the new family models on the market, there is no central screen!
An exceptional V12 to begin with
Under the hood, the Thoroughbred is very strong. While most ultra-sports models on the market are content with a twin-turbo V8, the Italian dares the striking V12. Taken from the GT 812 Superfast in a 725 horsepower “deflated” version, this 6.5-liter block allows the car to drop 0 to 100 km / h in 3.3 seconds. Exactly like the new 666 HP Lamborghini Urus Performante and the latest 707 HP Aston Martin DBX707. Like its English rival, it reaches 310 km / h at maximum speed. The price of this big dry 2033-pound baby will fluctuate with € 400,000, well above the price of its Aston Martin, Lamborghini or Maserati competitors. “Another SUV”, of course. But an SUV equipped with such an engine – moreover with a dual-clutch gearbox installed in the transaxle position – is not yet racing on the streets. Ferrari definitely doesn’t do things like the others …
Caradisiac, partner of the Paris Motor Show
