She will be replaced by Cindy Fabre, Miss France 2005 and former Miss Normandy. The new director will take office in September. It is up to her to direct the famous beauty pageant and its future developments under the aegis of Alexia Laroche-Joubert – also producer of “Koh-Lanta” or “Fort Boyard” – who has been chairing the Miss France company since 2021.

In the service of Miss France for 17 years

Seventeen years ago Sylvie Tellier took the reins of the Miss France pageant. She had started working in the shadow of Geneviève de Fontenay, the historic organizer of Miss France. Sylvie Tellier, a lawyer by training, will embark on entrepreneurship, according to our colleagues. Her name was mentioned once to lead the “Star Academy” which returns to TF1 this fall. I’ve decided to leave the Miss France organization.” She assures the audience that “these seventeen years have been very beautiful thanks to you”. On the other hand, she gives no indication of her future by simply indicating “you have plans in mind” and “want a lot of things”.

Cindy Fabre, former Miss turned into events

For her part, Cindy Fabre is now project manager of events in Dijon in the company Ema events. After her Miss France year, she had worked as a model and TV presenter. She has opened a restaurant in Cannes with her partner.

Many Miss France regional elections will be held this fall: September 3 for Miss Midi-Pyrénées in Villemur-sur-Tarn, October 2 for Miss Aquitaine at the Bordeaux casino.
