In his message, King Mohammed VI congratulates William Samoei Ruto on his election as 5th President of the Republic of Kenya and welcomes the successful completion of democratic elections in the country in August 2022, stressing that these deadlines consolidate the Kenya’s position as a flagship country in terms of continental democracy.
The Sovereign also welcomes the promise of the President of Kenya to strengthen and deepen the current bilateral relations between his country and various African states and beyond.
For his part, Mr. William Ruto expressed his willingness and commitment to work with the Sovereign to strengthen relations between the two countries, hailing the leadership of King Mohammed VI in promoting policies of tolerance and accommodation at the level of the Maghreb region, as well as as your contribution to world peace and security.
